The bohemian life is the only life worth living! All other kinds of lives are only lukewarm; they are more ways of committing slow suicide than ways of living life passionately and intensely. In the past it was inevitable that the artist had to live in rebellion, because creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence. If you want to create you have to get rid of all conditionings, otherwise your creativity will be nothing but copying, it will be just a carbon copy. You can be creative only if you are an individual, you cannot create as a part of the mob psychology. The mob psychology is uncreative; it lives a life of drag, it knows no dance, no song, no joy; it is mechanical.

Of course, there are a few things you will get from the society only if you are mechanical: respectability you will get, honors you will get. Universities will confer D.Litts on you, countries will give you gold medals, you may finally become a Nobel laureate, but this whole thing is ugly.

A real man of genius will discard all this nonsense, because this is bribery. Giving the Nobel prize to a person simply means that your services to the establishment are respected, that you are honored because you have been a good slave, obedient, that you have not gone astray, that you have followed the well-trodden path.

The creator cannot follow the well-trodden path, he has to search out his own way, he has to inquire in the jungles of life, he has to go alone, he has to be a dropout from the mob mind, from the collective psychology. The collective mind is the lowest mind in the world; even the so-called idiots are a little more superior than the collective idiocy. But the collectivity has its own bribes: it respects people, honors people, if they go on insisting that the way of the collective mind is the only right way.
It was out of sheer necessity that in the past, creators of all kinds — the painters, the dancers, the musicians, the poets, the sculptors — had to renounce respectability. They had to live a kind of bohemian life, the life of a vagabond; that was the only possibility for them to be creative. This need not be so in the future. If you understand me, if you feel what I am saying has truth in it, then in the future everybody should live individually and there will be no need for a bohemian life. The bohemian life is the by-product of a fixed, orthodox, conventional, respectable life.

My effort is to destroy the collective mind and to make each individual free to be himself or herself. Then there is no problem; then you can live as you want to live. In fact, humanity will really only be born the day the individual is respected in his rebellion. Humanity has still not been born; it is still in the womb. What you see as humanity is only a very hocus-pocus phenomenon. Unless we give individual freedom to each person, absolute freedom to each person to be himself, to exist in his own way…. And, of course, he has not to interfere with anybody — that is part of freedom. Nobody should interfere with anybody.

But in the past everybody has been poking his nose into everybody else’s affairs — even into things which are absolutely private, which have nothing to do with the society. For example, you fall in love with a woman — what has that got to do with the society? It is purely a personal phenomenon, it is not of the marketplace. If two persons are agreeing to commune in love, the society should not come into it, but the society comes into it with all its paraphernalia, in direct ways, in indirect ways. The policeman will stand between the lovers; the magistrate will stand between the lovers; and if that is not enough then the societies have created a super-policeman, God, who will take care of you.

The idea of God is that of a peeping Tom who does not even allow you privacy in your bathroom, who goes on looking through the keyhole, watching what you are doing. This is ugly. All the religions of the world say God continuously watches you — this is ugly. What kind of God is this? Has he got no other business but to watch everybody, follow everybody? Seems to be the supreme-most detective!

Humanity needs a new soil — the soil of freedom. Bohemianism was a reaction, a necessary reaction, but if my vision succeeds then there will be no bohemianism because there will be no so-called collective mind trying to dominate people. Then everybody will be at ease with himself. Of course, you have not to interfere with anybody, but as far as your life is concerned you have to live it on your own terms. Then only is there creativity. Creativity is the fragrance of individual freedom.

Dog owner’s personalities are represented by their dogs! What’s worse, barking dogs next door incessantly polluting the air or those inconsiderate ‘dog walkers’ who don’t follow ex NY Mayor, Ed Koch’s ’70’s revolutionary, game changing order to ‘clean it up’? Empathy and compassion seem to be foreign words to some two legged clucks.

A friend in Venice Beach (LA) was beside herself yesterday after intermittent cacophony of barking dogs enclosed in the yard next door. For over 20 years the numbskulls next door have grown so accustomed to the negativity, that they can’t feel their neighbors ire. I suggested to my friend to call the ASPCA animal organization to intervene. People become so entrenched with defending their comfort with negativity that likely the ‘dog shit neighbors’ will deny the problem and yet, assure compliance.

Some years ago back in ancient times, a knuckle headed mystic discovered a thing called ‘awareness’ and it’s infinite dimensions including empathy, compassion and responsibility. After many millenniums, the ‘trickle down’ information still escapes many people who have seemingly fallen in love with their habits to be still impervious to others ‘space’. It gets crowded in the brain with all the unreleased negative habits that seem to be endlessly nurtured by the occupant.

Habits need constant review and assessment for the question of quality with others sensitivities in mind. Word is that man’s looping unaware bad habits have created a ‘floating plastic waste flotsam’ in the Ocean stretching the breadth of the United States. The unexamined brain is much the same. Negativity is a ‘habit’ and needs replacing with positive habits. Meditation is awareness, so creating that as a ‘new habit’ is bound to produce a serene silence.

Raiders of the Lost Art

The only ‘real art’ is love. We are all born with a blank ‘tabula rosa’ to create what we choose as we run through the ‘bramble bushes’ of life’s challenges of roses and thorns. The heart of the ‘blind beggar’ may well be the ‘abode of love’ while the ‘tycoon of the ego’ and, the ‘self serving’ heart that masks the cave of the vampire, can be nothing but just the smiling peddler of the drugs of illusion..

Slop covered with creme and cherries soon turns to something other than what it appears. Those who seemingly galavant through life parading illusion, are also looking for love, but in all the wrong places. ‘Things’ accumulated for a myriad of reasons are but masks of what’s really lost within.

The best investment in art, is to invest in the inner search for the lost treasures that are hidden in plain sight within. ‘Fine art’ is ‘priceless’ and can be found smiling all alone in that deep cave within. You’re a character, you’re a mystery to be found.. Tricks and gimmicks are for the kids, not for the sincere of truth and bliss. Life is more than the ravages of the outer always on the verge of the dancing ‘la-la-la’ that lights the air all around.

Each possesses the finest and most unique art called a ‘you’. The whole world may seem bleak but every moment has a ‘corner to turn’ beyond the foolish kind of love and self doubts. Everyone has everything even though sometimes it seems as if only you are without. The art that won’t sell for all the money in the world is the art of self love. Self love is free even when the lights of hope are dimmed, there is always a flicker ready to become a blessing beyond imagination. Money buys the false art while the lights shine all around the real art of appreciating the divineness in ‘you’.

Dogs, cats and, man should have plans available to eliminate indiscriminate pregnancy. Population control is a method of improving the life of any specie, particularly at this point with man proliferating unchecked from just 2 billion people a few short years ago to 10 billion over the next few decades. India alone has 1.2 billion people on a land far less than 1/2 the size of the US and, with no control of the sexual urge.

Apparently, besides a certain type of monkey, no other animal enjoys sex for fun! Sex with consciousness is even a more powerful happening leading to love and it’s possibility of deepening of it as well as the general consciousness of participants. The path of love deepening with conscious sex is one to elevate human kind to an evolution beyond the present state of constant turmoil.

Kitties, puppies, and human babies are certainly wonderful expressions of life, however, enough is enough for the good of the high quality of life. A world where children are the product of a deep and responsible love will be a better world and one that evolves man beyond the crimes and violence that are so prevalent. Religions are against many methods of birth control so as to keep their religion filled with ready made converts. Even nations look to support unchecked population out of ignorance and economic reasons.

Our resources and general environment are being ‘taxed’ from lack of mindful controls to promote a healthier world. The world is running out of control and, will reach calamity soon, after having gone with no controls on population in a few short years. Quantity is not producing quality.

Talk and plans of creating humane and workable neutering of humans (particularly of men who are designed by nature to be motivated for sex in excess of the average female) needs to be happening now. Education about the mysteries of life and love is far more important than sidestepping it to spend a life working for survival while in relationships barely working to bring more children into an over populated world. Control over ‘birthing’ opens a whole new area of better possibilities and, freedom for humanity.

Some pundits are wondering what decisions the Catholic Church will make if the Popes suggestion that ?pecker covers? (condoms) are a sin even in light of the continuing outbreak of AIDS in Africa. Now the Pope?s down the centuries are not known as ?rocket scientists? but times have moved on to the 21st century ?lled with new ideas like Twitter, cell phones, vibrating toys, and something called the ?internet? for access to all the information anyone would want!

Behind every debacle and every wonderment is energy, be it raw testosterone or testosterone with love and communication! If the average woman could spend a while in a man’s body, she’d not be so eager to run to the alter. Most females, particularly religious ones, are in a very thick fog of denial when it comes to knowing what a man is thinking and feeling regarding his ‘sexual energy’.

While a female often dreams of a home, children, and endless love, the average man is perhaps agreeing but has other thoughts on his mind of urges. Men don’t relish Harley Davidson motorcycles just because of the name! Men don’t climb mountains and, play or go to ‘war’ just because it’s a nice thing to do! Is it all men? Play ‘lotto’ and you’d have a better chance of winning than thinking there are many exceptions and, the reasons why some are exceptions!

All women should thoroughly know everything about her choice of a man even better than he does about himself. His past should be heard and understood with sensitivity and discernment as well as how he is in the moment. All aspects of has abilities to focus on love and his deep sexual energy and fantasies need be considered. Less is playing the ‘lottery’ to win, don’t get to attached to it.

The key is total communication and openness, with agreements, about what is and, what needs to lead to a deeper bond of trust and loyalty. ‘Truth by omission’ is bound to come sneaking in to shatter shallow beliefs. No one can be sure of everything about themselves let alone an outsider, but it does have great secure value. Humans have the capacity to utilize all the conscious possibilities available, one important one is to pay attention to everything that is in another’s consciousness and, ‘unconsciousness’. Life is best being close to love and the communication that ensues.

‘Move that bus’, in America, has come to mean ‘giving back to people who give to others but suffer hardships themselves. A ‘thank you’ from the heart to make peoples lives richer. The TV series takes place every Sunday where a family in need is built a new home to replace difficult conditions in their present home. It’s called ‘Extreme Home Makeover’ and behind it are hundreds of people to make an incredible difference in the lives of a selected family.

Home is where everyone lives within themselves but, often it’s treated as a house in need of lots of repairs because of fears, hurts, and ignorance of better choices. ‘Move that bus’ is moving the bus so the ‘homeowners’ can see, upon their arrival a week later, their new home, having let go of what was there. Do we have a ‘bus’ in front of our perception of who we really are?

Few don’t need some kind of makeover of who they really are, perhaps an extreme makeover! No one is ever going to come to make that ‘make over’, just the choice to do it for ourselves step by step to see that we each are far more than meets the eye that doesn’t look beyond or, for the treasures inside. The past and the future are here now. Position the past within on how it best serves the moment. The future is always in the moment.

The rhythm of the moment will give the butterflies to rise one to the heights of consciousness. Each is driving that bus that needs to be moved to see the awaiting surprises of all the aspects of the spirit that can be opened to enable one to live at the heights of living. Waiting for the ‘bus in the sky’ to come and rescue one is a mind illusion, for everything needed has arrived but for paying attention. The house can be replaced by a new home within.

Never touched by jealousy is to never be touched by love’s depths. Love may be lost within your heart replaced by the shallowness of the mind without soul. Our fear is not so much reasons to be struck with jealousy, but should be to not access the lucidity of love within. Why shrink to the dangerous borderline of ‘fear and love’ when love’s reservoir is always there for the asking to clear the eyes of understanding and sensitivity.

To free oneself from life’s emotional fears is to accept them as they arise. Open the heart to the greater expansion of love while not expecting the mind to be skillful enough to solve all problems. Be intelligent and, love in the heart will provide all the colors of the rainbow.

This whole God-religion business is SHALLOW! Teflon! Words about words, so as to ‘belong’ to a group. On Wall St., men all wear suits and acceptable shirts and ties to make a statement of being part of ‘the group’ that can be ‘trusted’. Same with all religions, except it’s word’s and, at best, a 2 second hug with pats on the back while the men look around for a pretty female that they can ‘mix with’.

Put the ‘god lovers with the atheists’ in one dump truck, sending it out to the local garbage dump and, you’ve got….MORE GARBAGE! Religion is mostly about words. Those who have the words memorized or concepts down ‘pat’, rule the roost while the shallow butts that fill the seats (called pews!) restlessly wait for the ‘bank’ to be passed around for purse and wallet opening time. That’s the ‘let go’ and thank you ‘shallow god’ from one of your shallow devotees!

Real religiousness happens in beds! Sometimes it’s a sick bed, death bed, dream bed or, love bed! It’s where the feelings of ‘godliness’ (apart from all ‘gods’) fills the hearts and spirits of all. There are NO scriptures for it – no bibles or holy books, just love and life with the sometimes frequent visitor called ‘fear’.

The ‘fear’ visitor, often called ‘God’ or Allah is a mind control device to give the believers hope in a fictional, shallow heaven which is a ‘Disneyland theory’ at best. Heaven is ‘choosing’ the best direction at all moments no matter how challenging. ‘Heaven’ reaches down to lift up all. That heaven is the ‘soul of life’ that’s very real and undeniable to everyone. Atheists? Three of the four are ‘illusion based’, living in the shadows of life. Life has infinite dimensions, changes and challenges. Believing in ‘god or denial there of’ is missing the obvious hidden in plain sight – LIFE and, it’s partner, LOVE! No words necessary for the truth, just words to point and express the best direction.

Who would choose god or allah over life and love? God and Allah are puppets of the religious puppeteers to keep people coming to their temples, mosques, and churches, all with good intent but, for all the religions good, abuse of the mind, emotions, and soul are mixed in with it. Religious leaders rarely walk the talk of love and life, instead parroting scriptures long since revised over and over of words never reflective of the highest consciousness anyway.

Religions are primarily for the sick who seem to avoid life and love’s offerings in harmony. Sensitivity and harmony with all, opens up the nurturings of life. Religious leaders are selling what people already have in front of their eyes but for their laziness and insecurities, will follow along what seems to be the path most followed. Religions are a ‘patchwork’ of very different men’s thoughts from different eras each with their own issues. Religions are a ‘creation’ denying the evolution through which they’ve come.

To be free of the ‘polarities’ of religious doctrine, opens the opportunity to find the jewels of being free, authentic, and, finding a happiness that disappeared when submitting to a closed ended religious infirmary. The ‘end of life’ begins with religious indoctrination. The beginning of life starts with finding the sensitivities of the heart used with common sense to find best ways to adapt to life’s happenings and challenges.

Religions take away the need to think and live authentically for oneself. Submitting to an illusion when life and love are always knocking on the door, is to miss the point of our visit here on earth. Choose the truth, avoid beliefs.
